เมื่อแผ่นดินโครยอซึ่งไร้หมอผู้มีความสามารถจะมารักษาอาการประชวรของพระมเหสี ราชองครักษ์หนุ่ม ชเวยอง (ลีมินโฮ) จึงได้รับภารกิจให้ไปตามหาหมอเทวดาผู้มากฝีมือ เพื่อปกป้องแผ่นดินนี้ไว้เขาจึงได้เดินทางข้ามยุคสมัยไปโผล่ยังโลกในอีก 700 ปีข้างหน้า และได้พบกับ ยูอึนซู (คิมฮีซอน) แพทย์สาวแห่งกรุงโซล เขาพาเธอเดินทางไปยังสมัยที่จากมาทันที แต่ระหว่างทางมีอุปสรรคและอันตรายมากมายจากกลุ่มคนร้ายที่ไม่ต้องการให้แผ่นดินสงบสุข ทั้งคู่ช่วยเหลือปกป้องกันและกันจนกลายเป็นความรักของคนสองยุคที่แม้แต่กาลเวลาก็ไม่อาจกีดกั้น
